Many 2nd-generation idol group fans were nostalgic and became emotional after seeing KARA perform on stage at the 2022 MAMA Awards.
KARA performed many of their hit songs, "Lupin," "STEP," "Mr." and their newest song, "When I Move." Many fans watched the performance with tears as they reminisced back. One fellow 2nd-generation idol group member also expressed her support for KARA on social media.
Girls' Generation's Sunny posted an Instagram story post with a photo of KARA's performance at the 2022 MAMA Awards and a short message of support.
Sunny wrote, "KARA Best. You guys were so pretty, awesome, and shined. It was good to see you, I admire you and am proud of you. Thank you and I missed you."
After seeing Sunny's message, fans were overcome with emotions and expressed them online. They commented, "Wahhhh my unnies TT TT," "My unnies TT.TT" "I'm crying," "The second generation, seriously TT.TT" "I love KARA and Girls' Generation," "I love them so much," "I'm feeling so emotional TT.TT" "I am so happy this year, next next year is Wonder Girls' turn," "I love Wonder Girls, KARA, and Girls' Generation," "These are my memories," "Second generation love," "I'm crying," "I wish all of them are just happy," "I dream of all the 2nd generation girl group members gathering and performing on stage together," and "I really want to see Wonder Girls, KARA, and Girls' Generation on stage together at the year-end."
SNSD had their reunion this year and so did Kara. My 2nd generation heart is very full right now. Sunny was also cast members with Hara on Invincible Youth too.
