Catchy choruses, upbeat tunes, and great rhythm make up the music of K-Pop, and some of the greatest hits have been produced by some of the most musically gifted producers around! Here are five ingenious producers who created music that transcended so many boundaries for K-pop.

1. Hitman Bang (Bang Si Hyuk): He began his roots in the world of K-Pop by producing music for JYP Entertainment in the late 90s into the early 2000s. Hitman Bang has become one of the best producers in the music industry. His musical talent surely cannot be beaten! Especially with tunes such as Rain's "Bad Guy," 2AM's "Can't Let You Go Even if I Die," and, of course, many BTS songs too!

2. Shinsadong Tiger (Lee Ho Yang): Another powerhouse producer known for one of the most catchy tunes within K-Pop, Shinsadong Tiger has produced some of the greatest hits that you've probably heard many times again and again. Some of the songs he has produced include "Hot Issue" by 4minute, "Bo Peep Bo Peep" by T-ARA, "Bad Girl" by BEAST, "Bubble Pop" by HyunA, "Up and Down" by EXID" and "Bboom Boom" by MOMOLAND.

3. Black Eyed Pilseung (Rado & Choi Kyu Sung): Before producing the megahit "Cheer Up," Black Eyed Pilseung produced the ultimate summer tune "Touch My Body," "Stand Up" by god, "Missing" by Teen Top, and "Erase" featuring Hyolyn and Jooyoung.

4. Teddy Park: As a former idol himself in the group 1TYM, Teddy Park intertwines American hip hop with Korean music through many songs such as "Try to Follow Me" by 2NE1, "Lollipop Pt.2," "Wedding Dress" by Taeyang, "Better Together" by SE7EN, "Love song" and "Blue" by BIG BANG!

5. Brave Brothers (Kang Dong Chul): Probably when you think about Brave Brothers, the first thing to come to mind is Brave Girls' famous "Rollin" which dominated the charts unexpectedly, but Brave Brothers has been producing songs for big K-Pop groups from AOA to Teen Top, to T-ARA, and even Park Bom!
