Coca-Cola Korea has denied asking Kang Daniel for compensation after his mistake during a live broadcast.
According to earlier reports, Coca-Cola Korea reportedly asked Kang Daniel's label CJ ENM to compensate for damages after he named the wrong beverage brand as a sponsor during a live broadcast of Mnet's 'Street Man Fighter'. However, the reports have now been confirmed as false.
A rep from Coca-Cola Korea stated, "We've decided to move on from it as just a mistake that happened." As for rumors the company asked for compensation from CJ ENM, the rep responded, "That's not true."
In other news, Kang Daniel's first repackaged album 'The Story: Retold' is set to drop on November 24 KST.

There is a saying something like "any publicity is better than no publicity". I think they got more publicity from his simple mistake than if he hadn't made one. Not suing him probably makes people have a better opinion of them especially since it was a simple mistake. Good decision from Coca Cola.. now I'm off to go drink a Coke Zero and listen to some Kang Daniel to celebrate someone not suing someone for once...
