BTS continues to write a new history for the K-pop industry as they were invited to speak with President Joe Biden at the White House back in May.
They were the first K-pop artist - and might be the only group - that was invited to the White House. BTS joined President Biden at the White House to discuss anti-Asian hate crimes and celebrate the Asian American and Native Hawaiian/ Pacific Islander Heritage Month.
The members beautifully spoke about the importance of diversity and inclusion, spreading a message of hope and positivity across the globe. When BTS was seen meeting President Biden was truly an incredible moment for fans and Korean netizens.
Now, the global K-pop act is bringing fans behind the scenes of that historical moment and releasing the behind-the-scenes video on their official YouTube channel. The video shows how the members prepared from the moment they arrived at Incheon airport to their moments at the White House.
So check out all the processes and preparations the boys took before meeting with President Biden at the White House through the video below!
BTS worked hard and released many songs that helped millions get through their own struggles. A beautiful group of kindhearted talented superstars. As an American I was very proud they came and helped shine a light on racism. Mainstream news here coverage went way up on the topic and I don’t think anyone else could have brought as much exposure to the topic. Borage BTS and we’ll done!
