Jimin's 28th (Korean age) Birthday is fast approaching, and as usual, his fans have started unveiling all kinds of projects prepared to celebrate this important day not just in his life but in theirs too. The projects prepared by Jimin's Chinese fans through his Chinese fanbase PARKJIMINBAR are usually the most anticipated each year due to the magnitude of their scale, prestige, and luxury, and they draw immense attention worldwide. From previous projects such as lighting up a whole 34 buildings in Hangzhou, China, customizing a Jimin-themed airplane in cooperation with Jeju Air, organizing for full page ads in both The Times and The New York Times magazines, and creating artificial snow, to mention a few, all of which were the first projects of their kind in the world for any individual, the fanbase is consistently exceeding expectations with the creativity and majestic splendor of each project each year.
This year hasn't been different as yet again, the fanbase has left fans and netizens in awe with the first project that has been unveiled, which consists of PART 1-4.
The fanbase first teased the project on September 23 and then posted the full details on September 24.
In the Twitter post made on September 24, it was stated that Jimin would be the very first person in the world to have his very own Jiminland that would occupy the entire 7-story P.Ark cultural center at Yeongdo in Busan. The project will mainly see Jimin's music being played; there will be a Jimin-themed café, an outdoor light show, street banners across Yeongdo, and the wrapping of many locations across the cultural center, including a giant scale wrapping of the top floor rooftop! The project is expected to run from October 9 till October 15.
One point of interest that amazed fans about the project are the statement from the fanbase revealing that "the cultural center has never accepted any idol related projects before" and that "the project was only made possible due to Jimin's major influence and popularity in South Korea."
This statement showed how significant the project is and demonstrated Jimin's unparalleled influence and how much he is loved and treasured in his country.
Fans and netizens alike were left speechless as they marveled at the project's scale and magnificence. On the Korean online community platform the qoo, a post about the grand project got trending in the 'HOT' section soon after the revelation was made, with comments such as "wow, the scale is crazy," "a full scale show," "Damn, it's like a real festival" and many others saying that they are definitely going to go to the venue, including some who are not fans!
The situation was no different on Twitter as fans mentioned how big a deal it is for the venue to be transformed into Jiminland for a whole week, given that it is the most visited place in Busan, and talked of how "beautiful," "insane," and "huge" the celebration is, among other words. They especially praised the fanbase for making it possible for Jimin to have a birthday celebration at the cultural center, something that no other idol or even individual has ever had.
This is just the beginning, and as the D-day draws near, fans are looking forward to the celebrations from different fanbases and fellow fans more and more.
Unique and Beautiful. The scale is always huge and luxurious for Jimin's birthday. KING deserves
