BLACKPINK has broken a slew of records following their long-awaited comeback!
On August 19, global girl group BLACKPINK set a new impressive feat as "Pink Venom" wrapped up its first day on Spotify with over 10.79 million streams, according to the platform's latest update.
This makes "Pink Venom" the biggest 2022 song debut by a K-Pop act, breaking the record previously held by BTS's "Yet To Come".
In addition, BLACKPINK's latest single debuted straight at #1 on Spotify's 'Top Songs Global' daily chart, the first song by a K-Pop girl group in history to achieve this feat. On its second day, "Pink Venom" remained atop the chart, making it the longest-running #1 K-Pop song on the chart.
Meanwhile, "Pink Venom" is a pre-release single from the group's upcoming second studio album 'Born Pink', which is set to be released next month.
Congratulations to BLACKPINK!
