BLACKPINK's second full-length album "Pink Venom" has topped Spotify's Daily Top Songs for August 20 (local time), making them the first female artist to do so.
"Pink Venom" recorded 7,937,036 streaming times on Spotify alone on the first day of its release on August 19. This is the highest number of streams not just among K-pop songs released this year, but also among global female artists.
On top of this, with "Pink Venom" BLACKPINK has also debuted at the top of 69 countries' iTunes Charts, earned highest unique number of listeners within the first 24 hours of release on Melon, and also became the first female artist in the world to hit 100 million views on YouTube within the first day.

I think this is one of those songs people will buy because it's Black Pink and never actually listen to it. The song is awful.
