G-Dragon was riding high on the immense success of Big Bang's comeback as he became the only male brand ambassador at Chanel's Cruise collection show at the Monte Carlo beach.
GD was seen dressed in an effortlessly chic mix of Chanel and his own brand Peaceminusone bringing together the iconic Chanel camelia and the PMO daisy in a floral symphony on his outfit for the show.
His blue pastel floral Chanel cardigan and shirt with the PMO brooches and studs, his Chanel evening bag styled with the large PMO floral brooch, and his Chanel tooth grill will no doubt set the fashion world abuzz and inspire many copycats.
Keen-eyed fashion junkies also noted that GD seems to be wearing scrunchies these days... Usually, a preserve of women's fashion, this new trend of men wearing scrunchies stems from GD's already iconic rainbow hair, which he is still wearing long. After he was photographed wearing the silk Chanel scrunchie at the airport in Seoul on the 3rd of May, he once again wore the hair accessory to the show, where it was spotted on his wrist balancing out a king's ransom worth of rings and bracelets on his other hand.
As G-Dragon was the only Asian celebrity invited to grace Virginie Viard's first international show for Chanel, numerous fashion publications were at the event to cover his much-anticipated appearance. Watch a few examples of the coverage below.
As much as I miss seeing him being the fashion icon he is, G Dragon is looking a bit too skinny no? ☹️
