Nine months have passed since, and he is definitely missed. While everyone is feeling some type of emptiness in the current music scene by now, with the absence of alluring and spicy stages by the reigning performance king, Taemin, he recently made an unexpected appearance. 

In a Yonhap News TV clip shared by a fan on February 27, 2022, Taemin's photo appeared in a Roblox room featured in a segment about games popular to teens. 

The photo featured in the Roblox room was from one of SHINee's MBC Music Core "1 of 1" Stages.

Roblox is a 'create and play' game development platform where users can develop games, customize characters and environments, and play games with other users. With the help of the learnable development toolkit provided by Roblox, users can execute their game ideas and earn from their creation.

According to Yonhap News TV, "Communication and activities through avatars in virtual spaces are popular among the youth." 

Taemin being featured in popular online spaces comes as no surprise since he ranked among the idols most searched by teens in a recent survey.
