Actor Choi Tae Joon will be making a special appearance in the drama 'Twenty-five Twenty-one.'
The tvN Saturday drama 'Twenty-Five Twenty-one' is a drama depicting the love and growth of young people who have been deprived of their dreams in the 1998 era. The main characters are Na Hee Do (played by Kim Tae Ri) from the high school fencing club and Baek Yi Jin (played by Nam Joo Hyuk), a college student from a wealthy family, each faces difficulties through the Korean IMF.
In the last episode, episode 4, Baek Yi Jin was seen showing support for Na Hee Do during the national team selection match. During this episode, Hee Do asked Yi Jin, "Why do you root for me? Even my mom doesn't." In response, Yi Jin explained, "Because you give me hope. And I want more for you" making viewers look forward to what will unfold between the two characters.
However, Choi Tae Joon will be added to the picture adding some more spark into the story. Choi Tae Joon will be playing the role of Jeong Ho Jin, a member of the national fencing team. In episode 5, Jeong Ho Jin is seen staring at someone on the plane and also seen staring at Na Hee Do while sitting next to her. When Hee Do turned to look, the two locked eyes and smiled at each other.
This upcoming episode will now see how the love story will unfold with the addition of the character of Jeong Ho Jin. The fifth episode of 'Twenty-five, Twenty-one' will air on February 26 at 9:10 PM KST.
**unrelated** but honestly, i don't know if the female lead's role is really supposed to be that childish for being a high schooler, or she really didn't fit the role. I watched her roles in Mr. Sunshine and Little Forest, they were all so good. But her acting here is so awkward to me. I'm just watching it for the sake of the storyline because of the rare timeframe during IMF.
