HYBE labels will hold another joint concert at the end of this year. Global pop star Justin Bieber was revealed as one of the participating artists for this year's concert.
According to HYBE, on December 7, the global music festival '2022 Weverse Con [New Era]' will be held both online and offline on December 31 at the Kintex Hall in Illsan, Gyeonggi-do.
'Weverse Con' is a global music festival where artists and fans can enjoy the moment of closing the year and starting another year. This is the extension of the joint concert 'New Year's Eve Live' that was held last year.
HYBE explained, "We plan to develop this into a global event where various artists, including the artists on Weverse, can participate in the future concerts, creating a festival that is jointly hosted by Weverse, a global fan community platform where artists and fans from all over the world can communicate."
This year's theme for the 'Weverse Con' will be 'New Era,' in which artists and fans are facing a new era in which they can endure difficult times and meet again. Each featuring artist will put on a performance showing their take on the 'New Era,' and fans who attend the concert will be able to countdown to 2022 with their favorite artists.
In particular, attention is gathered as Justin Bieber has been revealed as a performing artist along with BUMZU, Dvwn, ENHYPEN, Lee Hyun, Seventeen, TXT, and more.
Meanwhile, BTS will not be participating in this concert as they began their long-term break starting from December 6.
