Soon after the release of the BTS photoshoot and interviews for GQ and Vogue Korea, Min Yoongi (SUGA's birth name) became a worldwide trend with almost 50,000 tweets.

One of the reasons was the pictures where he is seen wearing a skirt.

But what also contributed to his name being featured in Worldwide trends on Twitter was the interview itself.

It was a deep dive into his genius mind, as journalist Kim Youngdae called SUGA. One of his many inspirational words were:

“Actually, I have no thoughts these days,” he says with a laugh. “It’s true. I’m too busy, and I try not to think about identity. If you obsess about it, you end up worrying too much. I think it’s perfectly fine to go with the flow, rather than constantly striving and struggling all the time.”

SUGA's words were even quoted by former US ambassador Curtis S. Chin.

On Instagram, the BTS rapper shared some photos.

Not long after trending worldwide, his name was also popular in his home country.
