BTS's Jin is one of the most popular K-idols in Japan. He has been getting lots of appreciation for his vocals and outstanding visuals there. More than that, Jin is referred to as a "Crystal Voice" in Japan and is the only K-idol in history to get a standing ovation from the Japanese public, which is considered the highest level of respect.

"Yours" by Jin was released in Japan, which is the second biggest music market in the world, on November 24. However, it was so anticipated that before the release, it already spent 14 days (and counting) at #1 of Japanese Shazam, which has never been achieved by a Korean song before.

"Yours" was a surprise drop at 2 AM in Japan, but only 2 hours later, it was already topping the iTunes chart. Jin became the fastest Korean soloist ever to achieve that. It was staying at #1 for 46 hours, setting a record.

As for the streaming and charting platforms in Japan, Jin truly took over them setting multiple records. "Yours" became the first Korean solo song in history to debut #1 on Billboard Download Song Chart Japan. As for the biggest streaming platform Oricon, "Yours" debuted #1 on its Daily Chart (the first K-OST in history) while also setting the record of the biggest number of downloads in a single day for a K-solo song. Jin performed great on the rest of the streaming platforms, becoming the highest and longest charting Korean solo song on Ricochoku (#2 - first OST to enter) and Line (#5 - BGM and Melody; #23 Line Music Daily).

Considering all of it, "Yours" became the most successful Korean OST in Japan. Jin proved himself as an influential solo artist by breaking records for any Korean solo project with an unpromoted OST in the second biggest music market in the world.
