BLACKPINK's Lisa has broken another record among K-pop female solo artists.
According to YG Entertainment, Lisa's "LALISA" music video has surpassed 200 million views on YouTube as of September 24 at 3:41AM KST. It has been only about 13 days and 14 hours since the music video was released back on September 10. This sets a new record for the shortest time taken by any K-Pop female solo MV to reach 200 million views on YouTube.
Previously, this record was held by Jennie's "SOLO" music video, which took 90 days to reach 200 million views on YouTube. In addition, Rosé's "On the Ground" music video took 123 days to reach 200 million views. With these records, the three BLACKPINK members are currently ranked as #1, #2, and #3 for the K-pop female solo artists music videos that reached 200 million views in the shortest time.
Congratulations to Lisa!
This was............. expected, really.
