G-Dragon recently celebrated the National Liberation Day of Korea by posting a South Korean flag image online.
On August 15 KST, the day the holiday is observed, the BIGBANG leader took to his personal Instagram account, sharing a photo that resembles South Korea's Taegukgi flag design laid over a map of Seoul, complete with the Han River flowing across the center.
"Map of Seoul with Taegeuggi, the Korean flag. 76th liberation day of Korea," he captioned the image.
Meanwhile, the National Liberation Day of Korea is celebrated by both North and South Korea to commemorate August 15, 1945 – the day that Korea was freed from Japanese occupation after 35 years of colonial rule.
