Rookie boy group EPEX achieved the highest first week sales for their debut album among all idol groups that debuted in the music industry this year thus far.
On June 15 according to Hanteo Chart, EPEX's first EP album 'Bipolar Pt. 1: Prelude of Anxiety' sold 33,535 copies in between June 8 and June 14. This is the greatest achievement in sales among all new idol groups that debuted in 2021. Further, right after their debut album release, EPEX ranked #2 in the Hanteo Chart's real time charts. Their debut album also received a good response on global charts. 'Bipolar Pt.1: Prelude of Anxiety' ranked #2 in the iTunes general music genre chart in Israel and Thailand the day after its release. Their ranking for the iTunes K-Pop chart was #1 in Israel, #2 in Thailand, #2 in Russia, #3 in Germany, #5 in the United States, and ranked in many more regions.
The music video for their EP album's title track "Lock Down" reached 10 million views on YouTube within three days of its release. The world's interest in EPEX continues to grow at a rapid pace as their music video currently has more than 17 million views.
EPEX has caught the attention of global fans as soon as they debuted, and the group is preparing to actively participate in music shows and various contents in the upcoming weeks.
