Last week the exciting news got announced! Kim Seokjin became one of the judges of MapleStory contest. Ever since then, he has been receiving huge support and love from the gaming community of MapleStory.

As Jin has been playing for over 18 years, he indeed is a professional of MapleStory. However, not only his gaming experience but personality, looks, and music made MapleStory users fall in love with Jin.

It turns out, the gaming community fell in love with Jin ever since BTS collaborated with MapleStory (which also happened because of Jin being the famous MS player) and even before that. Jin has been owning the nickname "Gamju" ("the owner of the game") for ages!

Now his title was leveled up from the Boss of MapleStory to the Lord of MapleStory!

Even the professional MapleStory players got impressed by Jin's skills after he subtly shared that he easily beats the bosses of the game (that are supposed to be fought with a team) with just one shot!

The article of Jin collaborating with MS even trended among the most famous gamers of South Korea and received lots of love.

Fans remembered how the same things happened with the Philippine gaming community of the game "League of Legends." After BTS made a "RUN BTS" episode with the T1 gaming team, Jin went viral among the players of LOL. They praised his pro-gaming abilities as he has reached the diamond rank in the Korean server, which is even more impressive because the Korean server is considered to be the best LOL server in the world with the best players. Jin also was the main rival of the professional gamers in the episode and was even able to win over one of them.

Fans concluded that Jin tends to gain many fans outside the BTS fandom.
