Brave Girls broke another record as they became the first girl group to have a song at number 1 on MelOn's monthly music chart for three consecutive months.
The title track "Rollin'" from the girl group's fourth mini-album reached number 1 once again for the month of May, setting a new record. Brave Girls' "Rollin" gained belated popularity and was able to rank at number 1 for March and April as well.
This marks a new record in the K-pop industry as Brave Girls are the first girl group ever to accomplish having a song reach number 1on MelOn's monthly chart for three consecutive months. Previously, Wonder Girls and Girls' Generation both held the record of having a song reach number 1 on MelOn's monthly music chart for two consecutive months, but this is the first time a girl group achieved this.
Overall, this is the second time a K-pop group was able to have number 1 on MelOn's monthly music chart for three consecutive months as BTS was the only group to hold this record with the song "Dynamite."
Netizens were impressed with Brave Girls' new record as they commented, "Brave Girls' song is really good," "That song is definitely worth that title," "I don't think the song would be able to accomplish that record if it wasn't good," and "congrats to the girls."
Meanwhile, Brave Girls are preparing for their comeback this month as they previously announced they are aiming to come back in the month of June.
And they kept Justin Bieber out of the number 1 slot, double bonus!
