Hey allkpoppers, this week, I am introducing you to a brand new solo artist who just debuted back on May 2nd, 2021. Her name is Acy blu, but her real name is Lee Hae Na (이해나). 

On May 20th, 2021, she appeared on DJ Ashley Choi’s “Sound K” show and was introduced as a rookie artist. Ashley interviewed Acy, and you can view a portion of the interview below.

Acy started getting into composing during her first year of high school and started uploading music on SoundCloud during her second year. She has taught herself everything she knows by looking everything up on her own.

She is a huge fan of singer Crush and considers him her inspiration. 

Acy also revealed the meaning of her stage name for the first time on Arirang Radio’s weekly nighttime program Sound K. Acy comes from the end of the word ‘privacy’ and blu because it’s “depressing and cool.” She picked it because it matches the fact that her lyrics aren’t too happy and cheery. She left out the ‘e’ at the end of ‘blue’ because it looks cooler.
