GOT7's Jackson reveals that he wasn't allowed to promote solo in Korea under his contract with JYP Entertainment

GOT7's Jackson recently appeared on 'GET REAL,' which is a podcast talk show by DIVE studio, and revealed that he was not permitted to promote solo in South Korea under the JYP Entertainment contract.
Jackson appeared as a special guest and talked about a variety of topics. However, fans were particularly interested in what the group had planned for the future. Fans shared the audio transcript in which Jackson talked about what the group had planned for the next year.
Jackson began explaining that he plans to return to Korea to officially promote his solo activities and explained, "I'm starting to work in Korea this year. We just finished the contract with JYP Entertainment." He added that the rest of the members will also be focusing on their solo activities for the coming year.
Many fans were shocked to find out that Jackson was only preparing to make a solo comeback in South Korea this year because he was not permitted to promote solo since it was a condition in the contract with JYP Entertainment. Now that the contract has expired, Jackson has the freedom to promote his solo songs and meet with fans through his solo activities.

I don't know why all these big agencies are bad at managing. JYP does well at picking out people with good personalities, SM is good at picking out talent, YG is good at picking up talent that others looked over, but they all suck at managing.
