The girl group's agency gave an update revealing that member Solar and Moon Byul had already completed their contract renewals while members Whee In and Hwa Sa are still considering with a positive outlook. 

Since MAMAMOO is well known for their teamwork and their affection towards the group, many fans are expecting the girl group to stay together longer. Amidst the contact renewal, many netizens are revisiting the story of how the members care and support one another.

Recently, Moon Byul shared a story of the time when she felt much support from her members. Moon Byul told the story on NAVER NOW, where she is a DJ. She started to tell the story of when she was bullied in school.

When she was a senior in high school, she was ostracized for a rather odd reason. The friends she used to be close with suddenly bullied her and cursed at her. Later she was told that her friends were jealous that Moon Byul had found her dream (to become a singer) at a young age, so they decided to bully her.

During that time, Moon Byul said her classmate defended her, and she was able to make new friends, but that time was still a difficult period for her.

Then Moon Byul continued to say, "When I was working, I met one of the girls who bullied me. My members knew my story of being bullied, so they glared at the girl for me. I felt really supported. Like 'my friends are here for me' kind of feeling." Through their action, many fans were able to see MAMAMOO's heart towards one another as the members glared at the school bully for Moon Byul.

Moon Byul concluded by explaining to her listeners that she had a difficult time in the past but was able to gain better friends and also her members who care for her.
