STAR CONTRIBUTOR
BTS Jimin’s unmatched brand power has been exemplified anew as his solo cover, the Wall Street Journal’s Innovators Issue magazine, has topped the monthly sales in South Korea.
Among the group and solo members WSJ magazines, Jimin’s cover recorded the highest sales in South Korea as of December 16th
based on the records of two of the largest online bookstores in South Korea. Jimin’s Innovator Issue ranked 10th
on Interpark site while 6th on the Yes24 Monthly Chart.
Jimin’s solo magazine is also the only solo cover magazine that ranked among the Top 10 best sellers on both Interpark and Yes24.
Last November 2020, the US daily newspaper, Wall Street Journal, has announced that BTS is their 2020 Music Innovator on their 10th Annual Innovator Awards. As such, the Grammy-nominated and top boy group from South Korea graced the covers of their Innovator Issues. WSJ also featured solo editions for each BTS member.
As soon as the preorders began, Jimin's cover ranked #1 among the solo covers on several online bookstores in South Korea.
Jimin’s selling power evidences his unequaled top brand reputation, in which he ranked first among Top Idols for 16 months as of November and first among Boy Group members for 25 months overall, a record that no other idol has ever achieved.
Jimin is greatly loved by the general public!! His it boy status continues to thrive
