BTS recently made their long-awaited official debut on Indian Television via their interview on NDTV, and fans were excited to welcome the boys in their terrain. Post-interview it seemed like BTS V particularly piqued GP's interest since his solo OST 'Sweet Night' rose up in the iTunes charts and stayed.

This isn't the first time India was seen to be smitten by V's charms as previously a very popular South Indian local channel posted about BTS using a V centric clip proving his popularity in the country.

V is not just limited to newspapers and TV channels. He is also being used in Indian university classrooms by professors as an example of fashion design and music.

V's iconic phrase “I purple you,"which was even used by the Indian confectionery company Cadbury as part of their product promotions for the celebration of Friendship Day and their anti-bullying campaign, was highlighted by The Economic Times, one of the most influential newspapers in India.

In addition, several popular Indian celebrities also showered their love for V on multiple occasions.

V, who was previously dubbed as "The Representative of BTS in India" by K-media, is also hailed as the ultimate stan attractor by BTS members themselves as the idol is known for doubling the size of fandom since his debut, whenever he makes an appearance in muggle lands.

India seems to be ready to become the next country to color itself purple and claim itself as Teteland.
