BTS Jimin Breaks FanPlus Record and Wins 7-day New York Time Square Ad and One-Month Celebration Subway Ad

BTS Jimin won first place on FanPlus Voting Event for Idols Born in October with a total of 693,394,727 votes. Elsewhere, Kim Woo Seok came in 2nd
with 644,127,090 votes while EXO Lay ended 3rd with 280,248,443 votes. The voting poll began on August 11th and ended September 8th.
Jimin not only won first place but he also broke another record with such win. Jimin’s total votes of 693,394,727 is the highest recorded total votes on FanPlus app among all male idols since 2017. Jimin broke NU’EST Hwang Minhyun’s record of 627,222,884 votes.
As a winner of the Birthday Fan Vote, Jimin earned a fan made birthday ad which will be shown on New York Time Square
for seven (7) days. The design of the ad will be selected through fan’s submission. Likewise, Celebration Subway ad will run for one (1) month on subway stations in Seoul.
