BTS member V’s solo track “Stigma” from their 2016 mega-hit album: “WINGS” marked its fourth anniversary by topping the charts of iTunes, with generous donations, and an endless stream of love and support for the multi-talented idol V.
Despite being a four-year-old song, Stigma continues to dominate the charts worldwide reigning over a total of 36 countries (as of now) proving its ever-green popularity among the fans.
Stigma is also well-known among the fans for V’s talents as a composer, singer as well as an actor. The promotional short-film of the song was well received by the audience for V’s incredible acting skills as many acknowledged his potential and shared their wish to see him on the silver screen.
As the short film for Stigma was released on “Actors Day,” V’s global fanbase: V UNION made a generous donation to the “Actors Conservatory Theatre,” a non-profitable organization aiming to provide equal opportunities for those interested in any phase of theatre to express their creativity and passion for performing arts.
V UNION said: “Inspired by Kim Taehyung, who despite the fame and success remains close to his family while he works hard to realize his exceptional potential as a superb actor and an astounding vocalist, we wish to help the youth in building a strong foundation for their future.”
Stigma is often noted as one of the best vocal performances by V. Fans has time and again regarded the song as a solid proof of his wide range of vocals and unique vocal tone. In addition to the fans, many vocal coaches and non-fans have also deemed V’s performances as remarkably soul-soothing.
Justin Burke, a popular vocal coach praised V for his “gorgeous head voice” and incredible techniques in his YouTube review of the song while another well-known vocal coach Rebecca Vocal Athlete said in her review that V’s transitions from the lower notes to the higher notes were very pleasant and that he has a good control over his voice.
Moreover, V’s high note is well-received by the audiences as almost all the reviewers go gaga over his soulful and powerful execution of the said note.
Furthermore, #4YearsWithStigma trended at #3 worldwide, #7 in the US, #14 in the UK, #4 in Korea, and several other countries as fans flooded Twitter reminiscing over the jaw-dropping live performances and the many talents of V as a singer, composer and as an actor.
