According to reports on December 4, the court has ruled against solo singer/2NE1 member Minzy and her request to nullify her exclusive contract with Music Works.
Back in September, Minzy filed a request asking to nullify her contract with her agency Music Works, and also requested 50 million KRW (~ 42,000 USD) in contract termination fees. After legal proceedings, the court recently declared that Minzy's contract with Music Works was still valid, denying Minzy's request.
One representative from Music Works told Xsports News, "It is true that [Minzy's] contract termination request has been rejected. We plan to discuss her future activities favorably."
Meanwhile, Minzy made her debut with 2NE1 in 2009. After leaving YG Entertainment in 2016 and moving to Music Works, Minzy has continued her activities by participating in solo albums and various OSTs.
Another trash company trying to hold on to their artists but not treating them right. Why cant Music Works and TS Entertainment just both close down already.
