Kim Taehyung akaBTS V of K-pop band BTS sets a new record in Korean music history to become the only Korean artist having 3 original songs with 45M+ on SoundCloud.  He made history when all 3 of his songs dominated top 4 songs "most streamed BTS songs" on SoundCloud.

It is a known fact to the fans of Kim Taehyung aka Vof the K-pop band BTS that Taehyung wants to become a singer his fans are proud of. And 2019 was a year in which he showed us all how talented he actually is.

In the beginning of the year, BTS V released his first solo song Scenery which was produced, composed, and written by him. Fans absolutely loved this song and - if you give it a listen you will know- it is indeed one of a kind. 

Scenery soon became the fastest song to reach 100 Million streams on SoundCloud and set up an unbeatable record.

Currently, Scenery is the second most streamed song among BTS's discography with 148M streams.

Last month, BTS V gifted us with another of his self-composed songs, but with an added surprise! Winter Bear came with a directed by, acted by and produced by V music video. An additional surprise was that this song was completely written in English by BTS V-  the first vocal line member who released a solo song completely in English!

This beautiful, feel-good ballad in Taehyung's soothing voice truly touched many hearts.

It has not been very long since its release and today Winter Bear crossed 54M streams on SoundCloud. Truly a very deserving achievement for this loveliest song!

In 2017, BTS V had released one more song that he had composed along with fellow band member Kim Namjoon. 

4 O'clock has the deep melodic soulful voice of Taehyung blending beautifully with the soft yet deep rap Namjoon did, and it also allowed us a glimpse of Namjoon singing as well! It is truly a stunning blend of both artists. 

4 O'Clock is currently the longest charting BTS song in Pop Genre on Soundcloud with 48M streams as well. 

With the release of Winter Bear, Kim Taehyung became the only vocal line member who has 8 KOMCA songs accredited to his name as a lyricist/composer. What an achievement!

It is truly so heartwarming to see that all of Taehyung's self composed songs are so well-loved and appreciated. Looks like his dream of being a singer that his fans love has come true already.
