On the occasion of BTS Jungkook's birthday, his fanbases have put together events scaling more than 400 projects. It is the largest and grandest celebration ever for an idol's birthday.
The events include many firsts for an artist like the all Jungkook Island put together by his chinese fanbase (Baidu Jeon Jungkook Bar @Jungkook_China) the Jungkook-themed subway, countless LED screens and billboards including the largest outdoor LED in Asia. There have also been special charity-based projects organised by his fans including ones helping dog shelters and orphanages.
Also, BTS Jungkook’s domestic fan club @supporter_jk are running birthday ads on popular Korean channel SBS and SBS MTV.
The SBS MTV birthday ad started on August 22 and will run 80 times for 20 days until September 10. The 2nd birthday advertisement will be broadcast before and after 1 PM KST on September 1, which is a song to celebrate Jungkook’s birthday.
Also, On May 26, @supporter_jk and Jungkook's overseas fan club, Golden Union, donated 70 million won and 1 million won respectively to 70 children and youths with disabilities.
