On July 12, 51k posted on its official SNS and homepage, "This is a request to a group of fans who have been causing misery and serious damage to artists through excessive privacy infringement."

The company shared, "Recently, acts of excessively damaging and violating the privacy and moral rights of the artists have yet to be eradicated. Due to the undesirable behavior of some fans, the artists are under extremely stressful condition. We will no longer stand still and observe the netizens who have been constantly uploading offensive, maliciously insulting posts or illegally gathering personal information and trying to contact the artists indiscriminately."

Then, 51k added, "The acts of creating and spreading malicious rumors and invading the private life of artists are likely to be denounced and prosecuted immediately based on the charges of cyber defamation and insult and then will be handled according to criminal law. 51k expects to actively deal with all the same behaviors of fans in the future. We will do our best to protect the rights of artists by positive countermeasures and thorough monitoring."
