Prior to the uproar of spotting CL in Mexico, Brian Lee posted snippets of CL singing a DIFFERENT version of Justin Bieber and DJ Snake's chart-topping hit "Let Me Love You". In the video, it can be heard that the lyrics are very different to the version of Let Me Love You (LMLY) we currently know. Combined with the information that CL and DJ Snake met in 2015, this lead to fans theorizing that LMLY was originally supposed to be CL's song.
After the postings, it was found that DJ Snake had liked tweets alluding to this song indeed being CL's song initially.
