Takahashi Juri talked about her decision to promote in Korea instead of Japan.
On March 7, Takahashi Juri appeared on 'AKB48's All Night Japan.' During the airing, the idol explained why she decided to sign with Woollim Entertainment.
She said, "I knew I can't be just satisfied with the present me. I believe I have to shine brighter. That's why I decided to sign with Woollim." She continued, "I wondered if promoting in both Korea and Japan will be impossible. Ultimately, I decided to focus only on promotions in Korea instead of being half-way with both."
Last year, Takahashi Juri participated in Mnet's 'Produce 48,' where she placed 16th. She didn't become a final trainee to join the project group IZ*ONE but she will now be making her K-pop debut under Woollim Entertainment.
