Kangnam opened up about his relationship with Olympic speed skating medalist Lee Sang Hwa.

In a phone interview with Yonhap News on March 16, Kangnam talked about what attracted him to the athlete at first, saying, "Sang Hwa's a gold medalist and national treasure, but she's not full of herself and very kind. Even the people around me thought the way she did well was so cool." He added, "We got close to each other as we were filming 'Law of the Jungle' together. Afterwards, we had a few staff and crew meals together, and I started to become more interested in her. We've been dating since around May or June of last year." 

As previously reported, Kangnam and Lee Sang Hwa are said to be dating with marriage in mind. Lee Sang Hwa is known for winning medals at the Vancouver Winter Olympics, the Sochi Winter Olympics, and the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, and she signed with an entertainment label last month.
