It seems that BIGBANG fans are currently still showing their love and support for group member SeungRi, despite him being a prime suspect in soliciting prostitutes for a business investor and having ties to the Burning Sun scandal involving alleged use of date rape drugs.
According to South Korean news agency Insight, BIGBANG fans are currently taking things to social media and are seemingly attempting to turn things around by spreading the hashtags #VipSupportSeungri and #SeungriYouAreNotAlone.
“But some fans pledged their support for the singer. Bloomberg quoted one social media user as saying: “We call on the real fans’ voice, do not fall into the shameless trap, we support Seungri!””

Interestingly enough, there's a thing called cognitive dissonance and it happens to most people at some point in their lives. It's the bad feelings you get when your long held beliefs are challenged.
