Tony An revealed he wrote a handwritten letter to former 2NE1 member Dara on 'Video Star'.

On the February 5th special dedicated to Dara's friends, Tony An spoke up about his letter to her, saying, "I don't usually write letters, but I thought it was a blessing that I met Dara." She then revealed a piece of the letter that stated, "To Dara who I love, I'm so happy I got to know you." When the hosts grilled him on why he said he loved her, he quickly explained, "I said I love you to express how platonic I feel about her."

Park Na Rae pressed, "Are you watching over Dara right now," and he said, "She's a female friend. No, I'm not really meeting up with her with anything like that in mind. It's not awkward with Dara. I know what Dara's ideal type is."

When asked if he would date her if she was open to it, Tony An said honestly, "There was a time that I liked Dara. There was no opportunity to see each other at the time. Now we're too comfortable with each other, and I don't know what to say when this kind of talk comes up."
