On January 26, VIXX's leader N visited his official fan cafe to deliver news of his upcoming mandatory enlistment.

N wrote brightly, 

"I always thought to myself that when the time came for my enlistment, I need to personally tell the people closest to me first and thought that I would be going home to let my family know very first, and now that time has finally come ^^

In truth, enlisting at my age isn't something to make a big deal about and I wanted to enlist quietly, but after seeing other friends' enlistment news being reported, I ended up delivering my news here from my home.

Cha Hak Yeon has been summoned for mandatory military enlistment as an active duty soldier on March 4, 2019! 

I think my parents might not find out about it until after they see this post. Before that happens, I'll have to give them a call right after finishing this letter. 

I feel sad and disappointed when I think about how we won't be able to see one another for a while, but as a citizen of Korea it is my duty, so even if you're surprised to hear the sudden news, please send your solid support and it will be a great strength to me! I know that being able to prepare for my enlistment calmly like this is also all because of my people, you all. Thank you one hundred times over, even though that will not be enough."

Before March 4 approaches, N will be greeting fans through VIXX's official fan meeting on January 27, as well as through his solo fan meeting tour beginning February 16-17 in Seoul, then moving on to Osaka and Tokyo.
