SM Entertainment donates 900 million KRW ($809,000) to the Shiny Foundation

SM Entertainment made donations to the Shiny Foundation. 

On October 1, the details of SM Entertainment's donation to the Shiny Foundation is revealed on the foundation's official website. The agency of late SHINee member Jonghyun donated a total of 900 million KRW (809,717 USD). 

Last month, it was announced that Jonghyun's mother established the Shiny Foundation in hopes to support artists who lack management. The foundation will operate with funds from Jonghyun's composition royalties. 

Official social media accounts for the Shiny Foundation have also been launched. You can find the official Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube accounts with the ID shiny900408.
