HASHTAG opened up their Makestar project back in July and originally it was only to last until August. After the initial week, the group had not reached 100% however, and the project was extended. It was to officially end in October and right before the end of the project, the group hit 100%. In their 100% thank you video released on the 10th, they announced that they would extend the project once more as their comeback had been delayed. Their comeback is now scheduled for 2019.
HASHTAG debuted on the 11th of October 2017 with the mini album The Girl Next Door and have not made a comeback since then. Three of the members recently did form a project group under another company (Jent I Entertainment, a subsidary of dental company Jennington Group). As PURPLE they released the song Maemmaeya and promoted on music shows for a while.
Not doing very well if they had to extend their first deadline. Most artists manage to collect the money they need, and often far more than that, by their deadline.
