IU has donated 100,000,000 KRW (approximately 93,000 USD) to help children in need, in light of Children's Day coming up on May 5 in Korea.
Childfund Korea said, "IU donated 100 million KRW to help neglected children in Korea. IU has been donating continuously to help the neglected children, and we couldn't let her good deeds go unsaid. We hope the culture of giving is spread through her positive influence, and that the children who need help can have a happy Children's Day due to her help."
