According to an exclusive report on March 8, the two former leads of OCN romance drama 'My Secret Romance' began dating shortly after their production came to an end, in May of 2017. The report claimed that Ji Eun and Sung Hoon enjoy dates with their close acquaintances. 

Back in September of last year, Ji Eun also made a guest appearance at Sung Hoon's solo fan meeting. Furthermore, Ji Eun supposedly relies on Sung Hoon for acting advice, and Sung Hoon was one of the first to know about Ji Eun's wishes to leave her career as an idol to focus on acting. 

However, Sung Hoon's label told DongA.com, "It's false. She's a dongsaeng to him: nothing more, nothing less. They became friends on set. Sometimes they meet up to talk." The label also denied rumors that Ji Eun would be signing with them.
