MONSTA X were invited to a special screening of upcoming Korean horror film 'Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum' by 'Dingo Movie'!
Gonjiam is the name of a region in Gwangju and the home of an old, supposedly haunted former mental hospital. It has been pegged by CNN as one of the best 7 scariest places in the world. The upcoming film is a fictionalized story inspired by the haunted hospital in Gonjiam, where a group of 7 people decide to visit the haunted building and suffer terror from a series of supernatural events. Those who attended special pre-screenings of the film have said, "The guy next to me cried", "It's so scary", and more.
So what happens when MONSTA X get to watch this very movie, in the basement of an abandoned amusement park? 'Dingo Movie' gave the members a warm welcome by setting up several "greetings" for the MONSTA X members, with an empty, spooky carousel, an empty ride with children's laughter streaming out, and a ghostly ticket sales clerk.
Watch above as the MONST A member sit through 'Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum' in a dark basement, and run into another little surprise from the 'Dingo Movie' staff at the end! Meanwhile, 'Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum' premieres in theaters in Korea on March 28.
