Though he's already posted an apology letter for fans on Instagram, Yonghwa apologized again at his solo concert '2018 Jung Yong Hwa Live - Room 622 - in Seoul'. During the concert's opening, he expressed, "Firstly, I'm so sorry. I thought a lot about whether I should hold a concert. As it's something I promised to you all, I'll do my best to make you happy and have a good time."
Yonghwa continued, "I'm sure you all were wary of coming here as well, so I thank you for coming. I'll do my best until the end."
As previously reported, Yonghwa's acceptance to Kyung Hee University's graduate school was officially canceled after it was found during police investigations that he never attended the admission interviews. Though there were allegations he only applied to delay his military enlistment, FNC Entertainment has denied that's the case.
