Approximately 25,000 people attended the special event as they were showered with buckets of ice cold water to beat the heat. Psy kicked off 'SUMMER SWAG' back in Busan at Busan Asiad Auxiliary Ground on July 29. After holding his first concert at Seoul Jamsil Stadium on August 4, Psy is looking to entertain his guests with another concert at the same venue on August 5. A total of 50,000 people are expected to attend both dates.
First established in 2011 and 2012, 'SUMMER SWAG' is Psy's signature summer concert. A total of 150 tons of water was used, in addition to 1,600 LED tiles, and 1,500 rounds of pyrotechnics were prepared for an even more spectacular show. The main stage was specially created to be 80 meters long (~263 feet), making it one of the biggest stages for a Psy concert.
As expected, the world star performed his latest songs such as "I LUV IT" and "New Face", in addition to his older hit songs like "Champion", "Gentleman", "Gangnam Style" and more. IU and Zion.T also made surprise appearances causing the fans to go wild. IU commented, "I think it'll be a fun moment since everyone knows Psy sunbaenim's songs." While Zion.T also expressed his gratitude, "I am really thankful that Psy hyung called me to the stage tonight."
Following this, Psy performed a hit medley for a special encore presentation lighting up the sky once again with his overflowing energy.
Meanwhile, Psy is planning on continuing his 'SUMMER SWAG' concert, stopping at various cities for the remainder of this month.
