Everyone was stunned by the state of Kim Jong Kook’s house.
On the episode of 'Running Man' that aired on the February 23, the cast visited Kim Jong Kook’s home and was shocked by the overwhelming clutter, ultimately deciding to do a full cleanup. From the entrance to the living room, kitchen, and balcony, the house was packed with household items and plastic bags, leaving everyone speechless.
During the recording, HaHa remarked, "He even has a separate room just for plastic bags. I’m not kidding." Ji Suk Jin added, "His fridge is packed with side dishes from delivery orders. The big air purifier by the entrance also needs to be cleared out."
Yoo Jae Suk commented, "He's a man who just can’t throw anything away."
The most shocking area was the balcony. The members checked out the so-called "plastic bag room" and were floored by the state of the house.

Yoo Jae Suk then warned, "Brace yourselves before looking inside the fridge."
When he opened it, they found it overflowing with disposable sauce containers. When asked why he kept leftover coffee, Kim Jong Kook explained, "It’s from yesterday," prompting Ji Ye Eun to exclaim, "That’s going to turn into bone broth!" Kim Jong Kook laughed and responded, "I was born into such a fortunate world. There's no country where coffee is free like this."
Kim Jong Kook shocked everyone further by revealing that he stores food waste in his fridge, raising serious hygiene concerns.

His fridge was packed with disposable sauce containers and side dish containers. Kim Jong Kook, known for his frugality, defended himself, saying, "I do my recycling when I sort my trash. And when I order delivery, I always request no side dishes. But they keep giving them to me, so I just store them. If I throw them away, I have to wash the containers, and that wastes water."
Frustrated, Haha sarcastically retorted, "Then why don’t you just go downstairs and live by candlelight?"
