Yoo Yun Suk to star in new drama 'Mr. Sunshine' by the writer of 'Goblin' and 'Descendants of the Sun'

Yoo Yun Suk is joining the cast of new drama 'Mr. Sunshine'.


On July 10, King Kong by Starship announced, "Yoo Yun Suk confirmed to join 'Mr. Sunshine' for the role of Goo Dong Mae."

'Mr. Sunshine', written by scriptwriter Kim Eun Sook of 'Goblin', 'Descendants of the Sun', 'Secret Garden', and more, is a human melodrama set in the 1900s. 


Along with Yoo Yun Suk, rookie actress Kim Tae Ri from the movie 'The Handmaiden and actor Lee Byung Hun confirmed to play the leads. 


The new production is scheduled to air in 2018.
