It's been reported that Kim Byung Man has suffered an injury while preparing for a skydiving competition, and that he is currently being treated in the United States.
His label SM C&C stated, "On July 20, Kim Byung Man was in the midst of a team training session when he injured himself landing, due to an unforeseen wind change."
Kim Byung Man is currently preparing for a worldwide competition for skydiving. After attaining his license, he moved into a training session when the injury occurred. Officials stated, "Because he was immediately treated and taken care of, secondary injuries were prevented." Once he was moved to the hospital, an examination was carried out, revealing a vertebral fracture. Thankfully, there is no nerve damage, and surgery will take place locally.
Future activities for Kim Byung Man will be suspended for now, and he will return to Korea after 1-2 weeks of recovery. The expected full recovery time is approximately two months.
SM C&C said, "After we first see Kim Byung Man's surgery, we will discuss his future activities more. For now, we will be concentrating on his treatment and recovery."
