A rep from the label said, "YG will launch a variety of programs beginning this fall. Han Dong Chul PD, who produced 'Show Me The Money' will work on a new survival program... it will be the first time YG will be joining hands with outside labels, and YG will be hand-picking members from participating, unknown rookie groups, to form a brand new group."
The rep continued, "Since 'K-Pop Star' is over, founder Yang Hyun Suk will likely take part in the show, as well as Teddy, G-Dragon, Taeyang, Psy, and more."
Another male survival program, consisting of approximately 30 YG trainees competing to create a new debut group, will also be produced some time later. This will be the program that former 'K-Pop Star' contestant Bang Ye Dam will be on.
It's said that Yang Hyun Suk not only prepared a brand new building for program and content production staff, but that he is currently meeting with over 20 staff members and YG artists each week to discuss ideas. In addition to the programs mentioned above, the label will be preparing shows like 'Black Pink TV', 'iKON TV', 'WINNER TV', and more. Stay tuned for updates.
