NCT's Mark is set to begin solo activities for the first time in 9 years since debut.
According to an exclusive March 10 Star News report, Mark is set to debut as a solo artist with the release of his first full-length album on April 7.
Initially, the album was scheduled for release in February, but Mark and his agency, SM Entertainment, decided to push back the date to April to enhance the overall quality.
Previously, in May of last year, Mark dropped his digital single '200' in anticipation of his solo debut. Later, in December, he showcased his explosive rap skills with his second digital single, 'Fraktsiya,' featuring rapper Lee Young Ji.
Mark made his debut in April 2016 as part of NCT U with the digital single 'The 7th Sense.' He went on to debut in NCT 127 in July of the same year, NCT DREAM in August, and SuperM in October 2019, making him one of the most active members within NCT.
Meanwhile, NCT 127 won the "Stage of the Year" Grand Prize and the "Best Artist" award in the singer category at the 9th Asia Artist Awards (AAA 2024), held at IMPACT Challenger Hall 1-2 in Bangkok, Thailand, last December.
