Kim Soo Hyun's agency released an official statement regarding the claims made by the YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute. 

On March 10, Kim Soo Hyun's agency, Gold Medalist, stated that it would take strong legal action against Garosero Research Institute for spreading false information about the actor and the late Kim Sae Ron.

In their latest livestream, Garosero Research Institute claimed that Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron had been dating for six years, beginning when the late actress was only 15 years old. The YouTube channel cited Kim Sae Ron's aunt and made claims that the Gold Medalist treated the late actress unfairly following the DUI incident.

Kim Sae Ron's aunt also confirmed that Kim Sae Ron and Kim Soo Hyun were dating and were in a relationship for six years. The aunt explained, "She didn't say outright but the whole family knew. How can the family be unaware? It was for six years. That's why our family is so fuming with anger. That's why she had things pent up inside because all these things happened."

Following the latest revelation from the Garosero Research Institute and Gold Medalist's statement, Korean netizens have been in a heated debate on various online communities. While some are saying there has to be some merit to the claims, some are skeptical due to the notoriety of the channel. They commented:
