On June 23, FNC Entertainment gave an update on ChoA's departure from AOA.�

After ChoA announced her decision to leave the group through her first SNS post, she became wrapped up in controversial rumors regarding marriage, pregnancy, etc. She then took to a second SNS post to explain herself, stating that her reasons for leaving the group have nothing to do with dating, marriage, or pregnancy, but her mental instability.�
In response to ChoA's first SNS post, FNC had first stated that her departure was not confirmed. The label has since told news outlets on June 23, "The label will respect ChoA's wishes to the best of our ability, and will come to a final decision after further discussion [with ChoA]. For the present, we have matters to discuss regarding her desire to leave the group, her schedules from here on, and more, so we will release an official statement after we've come to a settlement. We ask that you please refrain from any more rumors and misunderstandings regarding this situation."�
According to her first SNS post, ChoA decided to leave her group and the entertainment industry due to insomnia and depression. Stay tuned for updates.
