He took to his official Facebook to post a set of handwritten letters, saying, "I've taken up a pen to deliver sorry news. Last winter, I slipped on a rainy day and injured my knee. I had hoped to be healed in time for this concert, but I'm still at a stage where I have to be careful."
Dongwan continued, "Unfortunately, I will have to miss out on the choreography for a few songs during the June concert. More specifically, I've torn my posterior cruciate ligament (PCL). Currently, my condition is positive, but nothing is for certain until my re-examination."
"They say it's not safe for me to dance yet. I'm so sorry for not being able to show my fully recovered self. But because I have to live as Shinhwa forever, I will definitely not overdo things, and receive treatment accordingly. I'll see you at the concert," he finished.
Shinhwa will be kicking off their summer concert, '2017 SHINHWA SUMMER LIVE - MOVE' from June 17-18. Get well soon, Dongwan!
